Thank you so much for stopping by - it means the world to me that you're here! I have been writing since I was little - every wish on birthday candles, shooting stars, and pennies in fountains revolved around being a writer. Publishing the Carolina Girls series is truly my dream come true!

Fresh start after 40.

I am the mother of two incredible children who are growing up way too quickly. I am completely biased, but they are the best kids - funny, thoughtful, and full of heart. Our everyday chaos is my greatest inspiration, and I hope one day they will look back on our misadventures and laugh at the stories we're still writing together!   

This series is for me, though. It is a fresh start and a long-overdue leap of faith. I'm betting it all that these stories will find a home in your heart. Millie, Rory, Audrey, and Cate are messy, strong, and perfectly flawed in their own special ways, and I hope you fall in love with them like I did.

I would love to hear how their journeys resonate with you and what you would like to see in the following books in the series. Connecting with readers like you is one of the things I'm most excited about through this whole experience!
